CHEAP DIGITAL CAMERA
I recently purchased the KODAK PIXPRO Friendly Zoom FZ45-RD off of Amazon for $89.99 plus tax. I originally had an even cheaper one, but did not like how to pictures were turning out. I decided to invest in a more “expensive” camera to get the results I wanted. I have thoroughly enjoyed this camera and it hasn’t given me any problems ! When I say I’ll never use an iPhone camera again …. I’ll never use one again !
LMK if you guys have this camera or plan to purchase it !!

Okay, so you're probably here because you're searching for that perfect 'Lola' digital camera vibe – something affordable, fun, and capable of capturing those unique, slightly retro-inspired moments that your phone just can't quite replicate. I totally get it! I was on the hunt for ages, trying to find a digital camera that gave me that cool, nostalgic feel without costing a fortune. That’s how I stumbled upon my KODAK PIXPRO FZ45-RD, and honestly, it’s become my go-to! It might not be called 'Lola,' but it definitely delivers on that sought-after digicam aesthetic. What I’ve found is that many of us are craving photos with character. We want that slightly grainy texture, the unpredictable flash, and the overall charm that digital cameras from the early 2000s offered. This KODAK camera, especially for its price point, really nails it. I've taken it everywhere, from casual hangouts to nights out, and it never disappoints. For instance, those moments at a bar with subtle green lighting? My iPhone would struggle, but this camera's flash creates such a cool, distinctive look. And for those fun night shots, like when my friends and I are seated in a car at night, making silly faces – the camera's ability to handle low light (with a little help from its flash!) really shines through, giving you those authentic, unposed memories. One of my favorite things to do is experiment with its flash for mirror selfies. You know that dramatic, slightly blown-out flash look from old digital photos? This camera totally gives you that! It's perfect for capturing outfit details or just getting a fun, candid shot in the bathroom. And during the day, when you're out and about, the camera picks up on details like dappled sunlight beautifully, adding a dreamy quality to your photos. It truly elevates everyday scenes into something special, giving you plenty of photo examples for your feed. If you're still on the fence about getting a 'cheap' digital camera, here’s my advice: don't let the price tag fool you. What you're looking for isn't always about megapixels, but about the vibe of the photo. When I was looking, I considered a few things: Ease of Use: I wanted something I could just point and shoot without fiddling with complex settings. This Kodak is super user-friendly. Portability: It needed to be small enough to throw in my bag without being a nuisance. This red digital camera is perfectly compact. Battery Life: No one wants a camera that dies halfway through the day. Always check reviews for battery performance. Flash Performance: For that classic digicam look, a good, somewhat punchy flash is essential, especially for those darker indoor or night time photos. Memory Card Type: Make sure it uses readily available SD cards. Compared to my iPhone, this KODAK PIXPRO FZ45-RD offers a completely different photographic experience. My iPhone is great for crisp, clean, technically perfect photos, but sometimes that's not what I want. This camera gives my photos a distinct aesthetic – a certain warmth, a natural softness, and that perfect amount of retro charm. It makes every shot feel a bit more intentional and unique. Plus, separating my photo-taking from my phone means fewer distractions and more presence in the moment. If you're chasing that 'Lola' aesthetic or just want to dip your toes into the world of affordable digital cameras, definitely give this one a look. It's been a total game-changer for my photography!

I’ve been wanting to get this one but I’ve heard the battery life is horrible, Is it really that bad? An if it is do you think it’s easy to work around if you’re willing too?
