Battleship Texas First Ever Investigation

Fifteen years ago, my team and I had the incredible experience of conducting the first ever paranormal investigation aboard the Battleship Texas Historic Site in LaPorte, Texas. As part of S.P.I.R.E. Ghost Hunters, we were fascinated by the ship’s rich history and the countless stories that suggested lingering paranormal activity. The vessel, now a museum and memorial, offers a captivating setting for ghost enthusiasts and investigators alike. During our investigations, we used a variety of equipment to detect and document any unexplained phenomena. From EMF meters to digital recorders, our goal was to capture evidence of spirits or residual energies connected to the ship’s past. The somber atmosphere onboard, combined with the ship's historic significance as a World War I and II relic, made every discovery more poignant. One memorable moment was when we encountered unusual readings and sounds near the ship’s gun turrets and crew quarters, areas historically associated with intense wartime activity and, presumably, lingering spirits. The presence of notable paranormal investigators like Dona Strohbehn, Dave Fehling, and Jon Strohbehn added depth and expertise to our findings. Collaborating closely with Texas Parks & Wildlife and local experts ensured our investigation was respectful and informative.
