What “There’s No Point” Really Means

When “There’s No Point” Really Means “That Hit a Nerve”

Men commenting “there’s no point” on posts about patriarchy or power dynamics always makes me laugh. If there truly was no point, it wouldn’t bother you enough to argue with it. People only rush to dismiss ideas when those ideas challenge something they’re invested in protecting. Truth has a funny way of exposing discomfort. Sometimes the loudest denial isn’t about logic—it’s about defending a system that benefits you. When the truth lands, resistance usually follows.
