Asking questions like, "Where do I feel most energized and inspired?" and "Which habits or people leave me depleted?" can help identify what truly nourishes or drains you. I found journaling to be an invaluable tool. Writing about my energy highs and lows helped me become more mindful of how I spend my time and who I spend it with. For instance, limiting time with negative influences and prioritizing activities that fuel my creativity improved not only my energy but also my mental health. Guarding energy also means setting boundaries. Saying no to commitments or people that don't align with your core values preserves your peace. For me, this meant reevaluating how I allocate time and ensuring my daily activities align with long-term goals rather than just immediate demands. Additionally, I try to incorporate small rituals that replenish my energy, such as spending time in nature, practicing meditation, or simply unplugging from digital distractions. These practices create space for restoration and help sustain my creative power. Ultimately, perceiving energy as sacred encourages intentional living. It’s about choosing quality over quantity in relationships, activities, and habits. This mindset shift has helped me lead a more balanced, purposeful life where I feel more inspired and less exhausted.
