🌱 Maybe You’re Not Stuck🌱

Lately, I’ve been wrestling with the feeling that my life is sitting in neutral.

Praying.

Planning.

Working.

Waiting.

Wondering why some doors haven’t opened yet.

It’s easy to look around and feel like everyone else is moving forward while you’re standing still.

But tonight, a thought hit me:

What if I’m not stuck?

What if I’m being planted?

Seeds spend a long time underground before anyone sees growth.

Nobody applauds the roots.

Nobody celebrates what’s happening beneath the surface.

But that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

David was anointed long before he wore a crown.

Joseph spent years in places that looked nothing like his purpose.

Moses wandered before he led.

God has always been in the business of preparing people before positioning them.

So maybe this season isn’t punishment.

Maybe it’s preparation.

Maybe the habits you’re building, the lessons you’re learning, the strength you’re developing, and the faith you’re growing are all part of something bigger than you can see right now.

If you’re feeling stuck tonight, ask yourself:

✨ What is God teaching me in this season?

✨ What is He growing in me beneath the surface?

✨ What blessing might I be preparing to carry?

Because roots grow before branches.

And just because you can’t see the growth doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

Keep going.

The seed doesn’t stay buried forever. 🌱🤍

But viewing this phase as a time of preparation rather than stagnation can be transformative. Just like seeds, our personal growth often happens underground before it’s seen above. In my own journey, I’ve learned that patience during these quiet periods is essential. When I faced delays and unanswered prayers, I began reflecting on what was happening beneath the surface — habits forming, character building, and faith strengthening. These unseen developments create a strong foundation for future breakthroughs. The verse from Psalm 37:23, "The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives," has been a powerful reminder that God’s guidance is precise even when we can’t see the full picture. Like David, Joseph, and Moses, many go through seasons of endurance before their purpose is revealed and fulfilled. I encourage you to ask yourself: What lessons can I learn in this waiting season? How am I being shaped internally? What blessings might this preparation lead to? Remember, roots grow before branches, nurturing the plant’s strength to stand tall when it blooms. Embracing this mindset helps maintain hope and motivation during uncertain times. Trusting God’s timing and continuing to cultivate your inner growth ensures that when the seed finally sprouts, you’ll be ready to flourish fully. Keep going—the growth you don’t see now is setting the stage for a beautiful future.
