After refreshing my iPad with this vibrant green aesthetic, I wanted to share a few more tips on how you can achieve your own dream home screen! It’s all about making your tech feel like an extension of your personality and a source of motivation. First off, choosing your theme is key. Mine was obviously green, as you can see! But you could go for a cozy autumn vibe, a minimalist black and white, or even a 'studying aesthetic' with calming blues and whites. Once you have a color palette or mood in mind, head straight to Pinterest. It's a goldmine for aesthetic wallpapers, icon ideas, and widget inspiration. Search for phrases like 'green aesthetic wallpaper iPad' or 'minimalist iPad widgets' to get started. Save everything that speaks to you to a dedicated board! Next up, Widgetsmith (or similar apps like Color Widgets) is your best friend for custom widgets. This is where you can truly personalize your layout. I love using photo widgets to display motivational quotes like 'AMBITION,' 'BALANCE,' or 'your only limit is your mind,' or even just beautiful green png aesthetic images I find. You can also create text widgets for important reminders or affirmations, like 'SUCCESSFUL GIRL ERA' or 'I CAN DO IT & I WILL' – seeing these daily really boosts my 'POSITIVE energy'! Don't forget practical widgets too, like battery levels for your iPad and AirPods, or a quick glance at your calendar. I even included a 'My 2025 Planner' widget, which is super handy for staying on top of goals. For app icons, you have a couple of options. You can use the Shortcuts app to create custom icons that match your aesthetic. It takes a little time, but the payoff is a beautifully cohesive screen. Alternatively, some apps offer alternative icons within their settings. Try to group your apps logically, perhaps by function or frequency of use, but also consider how they look together. My 'After' screen felt so much more organized and pleasing to the eye. Don't be afraid to experiment with different layouts! I spent a good hour moving things around until it felt just right. Think about what you want prominent – maybe a large photo widget, or easy access to your most-used apps like Books, Canva, Spotify, or Instagram. The beauty of these aesthetic updates is that they're totally reversible, so you can always switch things up when you need a refresh.
