How to get a whiter smile
Here are some ways I level up my smile! 😄
1) I use a prescription fluoride based toothpaste! make sure you do your own research on how fluoride can affect your body (unfortunately, not everything that is good for our teeth is good for our bodies!!) Fluoride has many benefits for the teeth, and this toothpaste specifically has been known to reverse early stage cavities (wow!)
2) Electric toothbrush, this will level up your oral hygiene all around! electric toothbrushes can actually be more efficient than regular brushing because the vibrations help to loosen plaque and cover a wider range of debris removal. They also stimulate your gums, which are the key to a healthy mouth. also be sure to brush your entire mouth, not just your teeth!
3) Tongue scrapers: by removing bacteria from your tongue you promote a healthier, cleaner mouth!
4)Oil Pulling: You can use regular coconut oil for this as well. I love this mint one because it makes my breath very fresh afterwards. Oil pulling has soooo many benefits for your health and hygiene. it is best if you do it first thing in the morning before eating!
5) Crest Whitening strips! these work sooooo well! I do the 10 day ones because they are the cheapest, but there are many to choose from based on your own teeth whitening goals. saves a lot of money from getting your teeth whitened at the dentist and is safe when used properly!
