Just gotta get through 2 more days and then it’s 3 weeks of vacay before the summer semester begins 😍

Being a part-time law student comes with a unique set of challenges and experiences that many don’t often talk about. From my personal journey, juggling at least a million pages of reading and surviving 11 finals was as taxing mentally as it was academically. The immense pressure led to some hard realities, including multiple hospital visits and starting therapy, underscoring the importance of prioritizing mental health during such intense times. One aspect that stood out was the fluctuation of 'sanity'—a term I use lightly but accurately to capture those moments of sheer overwhelm. Despite these difficulties, the connections made with new friends and the occasional venture into dating brought moments of joy and grounding. It’s a reminder that while academic success is crucial, maintaining social interactions and self-care activities are equally important. Taking medication and committing to therapy helped me cope and continue forward. For anyone considering or currently navigating part-time law school, know that it’s okay to seek help. Breaks, like the upcoming three-week vacation I’m looking forward to, are essential to recharge before diving back into the demanding semester. Sharing these raw experiences can hopefully prepare others and remind them they’re never alone on this challenging but rewarding path.
