🌟 JOURNAL INSPO 🌟

9 IDEAS FOR YOUR JOURNAL:

1. lyrics with album cover photo

2. manifestations - writing down everything i want in my life as if i already have it

3. vision board - to manifest and remind me of my goals and dreams

4. bingo card - i gave mine self-care/self-love/healing vibes! such a fun way to check off goals, resolutions or things on your bucket list!

5. tv show moodboard - instead of printing photos from the yellowjackets show (which i did on a separate page lol,) i found photos that matched the shows aesthetic and made a cute journal spread!

6. doodle vision board - similar to a regular vision board, except i drew the things on my vision board just for fun!

7. sticker collage outlining - my go-to journal idea for when i don’t want to use as much brain power, is to add a bunch of cute stickers and outline them! it’s adorable AND it helps with my mental health and stress so much.

8. tv show/film - i’m getting into tv again (i go back and forth between film and youtube like every 6 months it’s a thing,) so i’ve been making so many of these! i find photos on pinterest of my favorite scenes, then i write down quotes that really stuck with me or that i just liked/thought are funny<3

9. doodle pages - lol idk what to call these yet, but i’ve been making SO many lately, also for low brain power moods. i always start with making a cute background with whatever vibes i’m feeling. i’ll doodle song lyrics that are stuck in my head, then add in random drawings. the point of these pages for me are to help me to stop LOOKING and SCROLLING for inspiration and instead, take whatever is in my mind and create it into whatever this is!

i hope you can find some inspo from this! if you take anything at all, never compare your journal to anyone else’s because NO ONE can replicate your unique art style. i love you!!!

... Read moreHey fellow journal lovers! You know how sometimes you want a page that’s just, well, *you*? I’ve been getting so many questions about how to make a truly creative 'about me' journal page, and I totally get it! It's such a lovely way to celebrate your uniqueness, track your growth, and have a dedicated space just for self-reflection. Instead of just listing facts, let's dive into some fun, artistic ways to introduce yourself through your journal. First off, think of your 'about me' page as a visual autobiography. It doesn't have to be a single page – it can be a spread or even a whole section! One of my favorite approaches is a 'My Personal Manifesto' spread. What are your core beliefs? What drives you? I love using colorful letter stickers to spell out key words, then surrounding them with handwritten affirmations about who I am and who I aspire to be. It’s like a mini manifestation board for your identity, much like my manifestation pages where I write down everything I want as if I already have it. You could also create a 'Vision Board of Me'. Instead of future goals, this vision board is about your current self or your ideal self-concept. What images represent your personality, your dreams, your passions? Maybe it’s a picture of a cozy reading nook if you're a bookworm, or a vibrant landscape if you love adventure. I sometimes draw little doodle vision boards, like a tree with branches representing different aspects of my life – reading, baking, creating art. It’s an incredibly visual way to capture your essence. Another super fun idea is a 'My Favorites' collage. Think about the movies that shaped you (hello, Yellowjackets!), the music that’s currently on repeat (you could even draw a little Spotify album cover!), your go-to snacks, or your comfort hobbies. Gather pictures, ticket stubs, or simply doodle icons representing these things. I often find myself doing doodle pages when I’m low on brainpower, and this is perfect for just letting your interests flow onto the page. For a more interactive touch, how about a 'Personality Bingo Card'? Similar to my self-care bingo page, you could fill squares with traits, experiences, or quirky habits that define you. "Loves iced coffee," "Always carries a book," "Can't resist cute animal videos" – check them off as you reflect! It makes self-discovery feel like a game. And let's not forget the power of stickers! My ultimate low-brain-power journal idea is a 'Sticker Collage of Self'. Just grab all those adorable stickers – the clouds, bears, moons, stars, mushrooms, butterflies – and arrange them in a way that feels like *you*. Outline them with a fine-liner for extra charm. The shapes, colors, and themes you gravitate towards say so much about your inner world. Finally, consider a 'My Journey So Far' timeline. Pick a few significant moments or phases in your life and represent them with small drawings, brief handwritten notes, or even tiny printed photos. It’s a beautiful way to see how far you've come and appreciate your unique path. Remember, there’s no right or wrong way to create an 'about me' page. It’s your space to explore, celebrate, and embrace who you are. Let your creativity flow, and don't be afraid to make it as quirky and personal as you are!
