Love to see my grand kids play…this is Mars n only 6 yrs old…first game he showed out but he still did good ❤️🏀⛹🏻♂️
Watching young kids, especially grandkids, take their first steps in sports is a truly special experience. Mars, at only 6 years old, showed such determination and joy during his first basketball game, and it reminded me how important it is to support them as they learn and grow. From personal experience, I’ve found that encouraging children in sports, even when they’re just starting out, builds not only their physical skills but also their confidence and teamwork abilities. It’s wonderful to watch Mars dribble and shoot, even if he’s still learning the rules and techniques. The key is to celebrate their efforts and progress rather than focusing solely on winning. Also, early involvement in sports can have lasting benefits. It helps develop coordination, discipline, and a sense of accomplishment that extends beyond the court. I always try to cheer loudly and be there for my grandkids’ games because these moments are precious and create cherished memories for the whole family. Seeing Mars’ enthusiasm has motivated me to learn more about youth basketball programs locally so he can continue to improve and enjoy the sport. If you’re a grandparent or parent watching your little ones play, remember that your encouragement can make a huge difference in fostering their love for the game and their overall development.
