What I got for under $40 at Walmart
I usually try to eat as healthy as i possibly can. This grocery haul might seem random, but the pasta, Alfredo sauce, broccoli, and shrimp is an easy high protein meal that i could eat off for three days.
People think that beginning their health journey means cutting everything out cold turkey. And while that works for some people, i don’t think i could. So, i opt for steadily making my pantry healthier with each shopping trip. That way I can still enjoy what’s left of my unhealthy choices, but also not put myself through a shock by completely replacing my pantry (saved money too).
I also don’t tend to get a lot of food on shopping because I also have on-campus dining options. So, i eat on-campus during the week and weekends i would eat in my dorm.
