... Read moreHey everyone! I'm so excited to finally walk you through my completely re-done planner setup, especially for those looking for some fresh planning inspiration! I've spent some time overhauling everything, and I truly feel like this new system is going to boost my productivity and help me stay on track with my goals. After realizing my old setup wasn't quite cutting it anymore, I decided it was time for a complete refresh, and I'm so glad I did!
First off, you might notice my planner is a beautiful light blue, and it's from Cloth & Paper – I've been loving their aesthetic and incredible functionality lately! If you're into minimalist yet highly effective planning, you definitely need to check them out. As you flip through, one of the first pages I always love to highlight is my 'SELF-CULTIVATION' section. This isn't just a pretty page; it's a super important space for me to jot down my personal growth goals, reflections, and things I want to focus on for my well-being, whether it's reading more or practicing mindfulness. It's a constant, gentle reminder to nourish myself amidst the daily hustle and ensures I don't just focus on tasks but also on personal development.
Moving on, you'll see my essential tab dividers: 'calendar,' 'QUARTERLY,' 'MONTHLY,' and 'WEEKLY TASKS.' My calendar section is where I map out appointments, important deadlines, and social engagements – everything I need to see at a glance. The 'QUARTERLY' tab is a game-changer for me; it helps me break down bigger, often overwhelming goals into manageable chunks for each quarter of the year. For example, if I have a big project, I'll assign specific milestones to each quarter, which prevents overwhelm and keeps me focused on long-term visions without getting lost in the daily grind.
Then, under 'MONTHLY' and 'WEEKLY TASKS,' I get into the nitty-gritty. Each month starts with a general overview of my main priorities, and then I drill down into specific tasks for each week. I love using a system where I allocate specific tasks to certain days, track my progress with little checkboxes, and even leave space for reflections. It's amazing how much clearer my week becomes when everything is laid out like this, drastically reducing mental clutter.
I also love to personalize my planner, making it truly 'mine.' In the pockets, you’ll often find various loose papers for quick notes, maybe a little inspirational quote I stumbled upon, and even a cherished photo with a 'Do Your Best' sticker – small, visual reminders that keep me motivated and add a touch of joy throughout my day. It's those little personal touches that make my planner feel uniquely mine and a joy to open every morning. This entire system, especially incorporating the 'SELF-CULTIVATION' aspect and the clear, hierarchical task breakdown, has truly transformed how I approach my days and made me feel so much more organized. I hope seeing inside my planner gives you some great ideas for organizing your own life and perhaps finding your 'best planner ever'!
