Summer Drinks!! Orange Creamsicle Latte 🍊☀️
So excited to put my new DIY orange creamsicle syrup to use! 🫶🏼🧡 #coffeetiktok #latte #coffeerecipe #coffee
Recipe:
-2 tbsp of orange creamsicle syrup*🍊
-2 shots of espresso (~2 oz.)
-Ice
-5 oz. of milk
-Top with frothed sweet cream! (I use Chobani sweet cream creamer, but combing 2 tbsp of heavy cream, 3 tbsp of 2%, and 1 tbsp vanilla will get you a pretty close Sbux dupeee)
If you're looking to elevate your summer beverages, trying out an Orange Creamsicle Latte is a fantastic choice. The combination of citrusy orange syrup with creamy milk and bold espresso creates a unique flavor profile reminiscent of the classic orange creamsicle dessert. Making your own orange creamsicle syrup at home allows you to control the sweetness and intensity of the orange flavor. I found that using fresh orange zest and a hint of vanilla in the syrup really brings out the authentic creamsicle taste. Pouring two shots of espresso over ice and mixing with your syrup gives the drink a perfect balance of caffeine and citrus goodness. For the milk, I recommend using whole milk or a blend similar to the one in the recipe (a mix of heavy cream, 2% milk, and vanilla) to mimic the rich, frothy sweet cream topping Starbucks uses. Whipping this sweet cream topping yourself can turn this home recipe into a café-style indulgence. This drink is not only refreshing but also customizable. You can adjust the syrup quantity to make it more or less sweet, or even substitute milk types such as oat or almond milk if you prefer a dairy alternative. It’s a perfect summer drink to enjoy in the morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up. Don’t forget to experiment with the ice amount to match your preference for a stronger or lighter coffee taste. This Orange Creamsicle Latte is a delightful way to bring a fun twist to your coffee routine and impress friends with an easy-to-make, eye-catching drink at home.
