Jaspe & I got glasses. 🤓 I can still see without mine, but oh man is the world in high definition when I wear them!

Jaspe got a local library card. I will spread my love for the library far and wide. Do you have a card? They’re ✨ free ✨ whole dollars. Definitely consider getting one.

You ever have a recurring person in your life? Jaspe is basically a recurring figure in mine. I’m so happy we have kept in touch through the years and that we get to be together. (Last photo is one of the first photos of us).

I’m nearing my 4 year work anniversary with my current employer. This is a huge mile stone for me. Prior to my employment here, the longest I’d held employment with a single employer before was 18-20(ish) months. My career is one thing I’m so very proud of having accomplished and continue to maintain.

I’m setting the intention: I do not want to put continue posting my children’s faces to TikTok. They’re really not old enough to consent to having a digital foot print created on their behalf.

That said, my sweet boy went to neurology after a series of tests, and doctor said based on the existing information, there isn’t enough evidence to support an autism diagnosis at this time. He has an unexplained, as of yet, global developmental delay. But we’re making strides in his progress towards growth and development.

Sweet girl walks and has started talking, and (like her brother) she lights up every room she enters. And, unlike big brother, she is not so cautious!! She loves to climb and even go on the slides at the park.

I’m so very grateful for my many blessings. I have most of what I want in life, and everything else feels within reach (that is, it’s merely not the right time).

Oh! And the cats! Anchovy-who went to live with the ex upon separation- has passed way. 😥 Cheddar, my sweet cheese, stands alone.

Friends, if ever there’s a doubt in your mind, please know that you are worthy. You’re worthy of love and acceptance. You’re worthy of peace and joy. You are worthy to be alive, even though you didn’t choose to be. May your presence be a gift that blesses and uplifts those around you. ✨

While I could see fine before, everything now feels crisp and vibrant, like watching my surroundings come alive in high definition. It’s incredible how something as simple as a new pair of glasses can freshen your perspective and enhance everyday moments. Libraries have always been a passion of mine. Getting a local library card not only opens doors to an endless supply of books and resources but also connects you with your community. It’s amazing how something that’s essentially free can enrich your life so much. I encourage everyone to grab a card—they’re gateways to knowledge, entertainment, and sometimes even unexpected friendships. Having a recurring figure like Jaspe in life is a reminder of the value of lasting connections. Over the years, maintaining these bonds brings comfort and joy amid life’s changes. Seeing a friend remain a constant presence adds a sense of stability and belonging that’s so precious. Reaching a 4-year milestone at my current job is huge for me personally. It reflects growth, commitment, and overcoming my past pattern of shorter job stints. This stability has helped me develop my career and gain confidence. It’s important to celebrate such achievements, no matter the scale—they represent progress in our journey. On the family front, navigating children’s health challenges is an ongoing process. After neurological evaluations, not having a definitive autism diagnosis yet but managing global developmental delay highlights the complexities parents face. Tracking progress and celebrating each developmental stride, like walking and talking, is incredibly rewarding. It’s heartwarming to see my daughter’s confidence and energy at the park as she explores and climbs—a beautiful contrast to her brother’s cautious nature. Balancing digital privacy concerns with sharing family moments online is something I’ve thought deeply about. I’ve decided to stop posting my children’s faces on platforms like TikTok until they can consent. Protecting their digital footprint feels like an important step towards respecting their future autonomy. Losing Anchovy, my cat who had gone to live with my ex after our separation, was sad. Cheddar, my remaining feline companion, now holds a special place in my heart. Pets truly become family and their absence is deeply felt. Most importantly, I want to remind everyone reading this that your worth is innate. Regardless of circumstances or doubts, you deserve love, peace, and joy. Sometimes simply being present is a gift that positively impacts those around you. Life is full of ups and downs, but embracing gratitude and self-worth can transform your experience and outlook in profound ways.
