✨️How to keep your dog smelling... Not like a dog.✨️

X GAMES MODE EDITION!🤺🔫

Let's face it, they're gonna smell like dogs regardless, but we can help limit that smell-

🫧1. Different types of dog shampoos that work for you and your dog specifically. Sometimes on those REALLY dirty days we use Dawn dish soap (regular kind). Dont use it all the time, it will affect their fur. I recommend ADAMS flea and tick the most on spring/summer days (It does smell good, to me at least). That Oatmeal, coconut lime bath though, probably one of my favorites.

🐾2. BRISTLE BRUSHES! 🧹 (couldn't find a brush emoji, leT mE LIVe) I LOVE THESE THINGS! I've tried those rubber brushes that are a$$ for cleaning (nice for pet hair Ig), but they mold and they're not comfy for the dog. I saw this brush I never use and was like, what the hell, might as well- & it turned out great. They can be inexpensive too & any bristle brush works. It gets the dirt out, mud out, cow/horse/chicken sh!t out, pet hair out, gets their skin clean, and they love how soft they get scrubbed now. (Also keeps you from getting all that gunk under your nails/on your hands) Make sure you clean/dry the bristle brush to prevent mold/last baths nasties.

🔫3. UGH THE SPRAYS! I ADORE THEM. Especially Pet Head & Good Dog Pet Spaw. I mean, the Walmart one is okay too but can't compare. Spray them on after the bath, or just on a random day they start smelling a lil too much like dog. Cover their eyes when you spray. (I also spray their dog beds in it sometimes)

🛏4. WASH NOT ONLY THE DOG: PET BEDS

•Steam clean them/hand wash

•Cloth dog toys

•Dog clothes

•leashes/collars

Yes- king/queen/qing, that sh!t is dirty too. All this is NASTY. Remember, some dogs/cats may be allergic to detergents, be safe out there.

🛒(close enough) 5. CLEAN THOSE CRATES! Don't put your clean dog in that nasty a$$ crate, what's the pOINt, Jennifer? Fr though, you don't even have to deep clean it, just spray it out, wipe it down. Boom.

🧻6. DOG WIPES! They're pretty cool too. When they walk in and just don't smell right or they have mud just on their paws, or if you're cut for time, it works for those days. We use Purely Baxter oatmeal scent, but yall can find other flavors obviously.

🪥7. TEETH! Don't forget to brush your dog's (or cats, yes your cat's) teeth. Or have someone do it for you. I give them DentaStix and then brush their teeth. (then another tiny treat for that) Also, make sure you're clipping those nails!✂️ Dirt gets trapped under them plus it causes health issues for the dog if they grow too far out. Plus they scratch the P!SS out of you.

🐕8. Let them be a dog!! They're gonna get muddy, they're gonna get wet, unfortunately they're gonna roll in something dead (we have shock collars for this), they're gonna dig, they're gonna be a dog. Just clean them.
