Need Ideas for New Kitchen!✨️
Hey guys! So we get our new house Wednesday and this is what the kitchen looks like.😭
I need some ideas and some recommendations on what to do with it. Some cheap ideas at that, or something on a budget. (Huge fan of temu) I'm not a fan of the green, but I'm not a fan of the color of the cabinets either. Or maybe it might be a vice versa type thing, I dont know. Something doesn't look right. I'm getting rid of the header above the cabinets dont worry😭 (we're getting black appliances)
I thought about doing Aztec Western, or just a simple Western in general, nothing too overboard. At first, I wanted mushrooms, but now, not so much.

Redesigning a kitchen can be an exciting yet daunting task, especially when working on a budget. If you’re considering a remodel, first evaluate your existing layout and identify what aspects you want to change. Since you mentioned not being fond of the current color scheme, think about popular color palettes that can refresh your space. Soft neutrals paired with bold accents can create an inviting atmosphere without overwhelming the eyes. Incorporating elements like open shelving can not only enhance the aesthetic but also provide practical space for showcasing decorative items or easy access to frequently used kitchen tools. When it comes to choosing themes, a simple Western style is versatile enough to fit your preferences. Subtle designs featuring rustic wood accents and warm colors can evoke a cozy kitchen feel. Conversely, if you're still inclined toward the Aztec theme, incorporating patterned textiles or wall art can add a bit of character and charm. Don’t forget to explore budget-friendly stores and online marketplaces like Temu, where you can find affordable home decor and improvement items that align with your chosen style. Lastly, consider the lighting in your kitchen. Adequate lighting not only makes it functional but also highlights your design choices. Replacing your fixtures can be an inexpensive yet impactful way to enhance the overall look of the space. Remember, it's all about making choices that reflect your style while also being practical as you settle into your new home.

I think that green is pretty... but it definitely needs a better color pallet to compliment it. maybe paint the cabinets if youre crafty. either dark to match the trim wallpaper or white/light Grey or beige to match the appliances and brighten it.
