WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT ST MARTIN 🌴
There are two sides of this island, the French side and the Dutch side. We chose to stay on the French side because it was quiet and private. The French side feels less touristy and more like a true tropical vacation. St. Martin from JFK is only a little over 4 hours away on a direct flight. We were lucky to have a car to explore both sides of this beautiful island. The French side has people who are French workers and people who speak French, the food is inspired by French cuisine, and people from France often visit this island. It felt like we were in a tropical French world. I loved this trip because of the culture, beauty, and lifestyle that was lived there. I have been to many islands but none have had amazing bakeries like St. Martin. It was so fun going to the pharmacy because a lot of the items were European and unique. I would definitely revisit this island once more. If you’re looking for an underrated island St. Martin is for you!
