(แนะนำเผื่อเวลาไว้หน่อย โดยเฉพาะวันหยุด คนเดินเยอะค่ะ) ถ้าอยากเดินแบบสบายๆ ไม่แน่น เราว่าช่วงสายๆ ก่อนเที่ยงคือกำลังดี เดินดูร้านได้ครบ ถ่ายรูป/เทียบสีผ้าได้แบบไม่รีบ ทริคเล็กๆ ก่อนออกจากบ้าน: เราจะลิสต์ไว้เลยว่าอยากได้ “โทนสี” หรือ “ลาย” ประมาณไหน เพราะในร้านผ้ามีทั้งผ้าลายดอกพาสเทล ผ้าสีพื้นมินิมอล ผ้าลายทาง ไปจนถึงผ้าเนื้อนุ่มๆ หลายเฉดมากกก และหลายร้านมีแผงตัวอย่างสีผ้าแนว ๆ Color Sample / Colour Sample ให้เทียบเฉดจริง พอได้เห็นชิ้นผ้าจริงจะช่วยลดปัญหาเลือกสีผิดจากในมือถือค่ะ (บางทีในรูปสวย แต่เจอของจริงแล้วคนละโทนเลย) เรื่องราคา ถ้าซื้อปลีกเป็นหลา เรามักเจอช่วงประมาณหลักร้อยต้นๆ ไปจนถึง 300–500 บาท/หลา ขึ้นกับชนิดผ้าและความพรีเมียม แต่สิ่งที่ควรทำเพิ่มคือ “ถามหน้ากว้างผ้า” ด้วยนะคะ (เช่น 60 นิ้วตามป้าย) เพราะหน้ากว้างมีผลกับปริมาณที่ต้องซื้อสำหรับตัดชุดมากๆ บางร้านจะมีป้ายราคา/ป้ายบวกเพิ่มแบบเฉพาะลายหรือความพิเศษของผ้า ถ้าไม่แน่ใจให้ถามก่อนตัดค่ะ จะได้ไม่งบบานปลาย เวลาเลือกผ้าให้เหมาะกับงานตัดชุด เราจะทำ 3 อย่างนี้ตลอด: 1) ลองจับผ้า/ขยำเบาๆ ดูความย้วยและการทิ้งตัว ว่าจะเหมาะกับทรงที่อยากตัดไหม 2) ยกผ้าส่องกับแสง ดูความบาง-หนา กันโป๊ได้แค่ไหน (โดยเฉพาะผ้าสีอ่อน) 3) ถ่ายรูปคู่กับโทนสีที่อยากทำ แล้วซูมดูเนื้อผ้า จะช่วยให้ตัดสินใจง่ายขึ้นมากค่ะ สุดท้ายถ้าตั้งใจไป “ซื้อผ้าแล้วกลับ” ในวันเดียว เราแนะนำพกถุงผ้า/ถุงใหญ่ไปเอง เพราะม้วนผ้าค่อนข้างเทอะทะ และถ้าซื้อหลายร้านจะถือหนักค่ะ ส่วนใครไปเพื่อหาไอเดียเฉยๆ ก็เดินดูเก็บเรฟได้เพลินมาก เพราะมีทั้งม้วนผ้าหลากสี ผ้าลายทาง และผ้าลายคิวท์ๆ ให้จับคู่สีได้สนุกสุดๆ สรุปอีกทีสำหรับคำถามหลัก: ไชน่าเวิลด์เปิดประมาณ 09:30–18:00 น. ค่ะ ใครจะไปเดินเลือกผ้า แนะนำไปช่วงเช้าถึงบ่ายต้นๆ จะเดินสบายและเลือกสีจากแผงตัวอย่างได้แบบไม่รีบ
