makeup tutorial using my spring sephora recs 💋

I decided to splurge and treat myself to a Sephora haul. I have been looking for products that don’t feel too heavy on my face and also leaves a healthy and airbrushed finish. Here are the products that I got from my recent Sephora trip:

- hourglass skin tint: so lightweight, has medium coverage, and leaves my skin looking so healthy and dewy

- hourglass vanish airbrush concealer: full coverage concealer that feels so weightless

- givenchy prisme libre loose powder: ultra fine setting powder that brightens under eyes and doesn’t leave a cakey finish

- lancome idole mascara: lengthens, volumizes, and lifts lashes without clumping. Love how the bristles are small enough to go through every lash

You should definitely keep these items in mind, especially with the upcoming Sephora sale happening in the beginning of April! Let me know what you think about these products!

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my latest Sephora finds, and now you're probably wondering how I actually put them all together to get that fresh, dewy, and airbrushed look, especially for spring! I totally get it, makeup tutorials can sometimes feel overwhelming, but trust me, this routine is super simple and perfect for anyone, even if you're just starting your makeup journey. First things first, skin prep is key! Before even touching the Hourglass Skin Tint, I make sure my skin is cleansed, moisturized, and has a good primer. This helps the tint glide on smoothly and last all day. My secret for a truly airbrushed finish that doesn't feel heavy? I love applying this hydrating skin tint with a damp beauty sponge. I start by dabbing a small amount on the back of my hand, then pick it up with the sponge and gently press it onto my face, blending outwards. This gives you that beautiful, natural medium coverage without caking. Next up, the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer. This full-coverage gem is my holy grail for brightening under-eyes and spot concealing. For a weightless concealer application, I apply just a few dots directly under my eyes, focusing on the inner and outer corners. Then, using the same damp sponge (or a smaller concealer brush if you prefer), I gently tap and blend the product. The key is to tap, not rub, to maintain that coverage and avoid creasing. I also use a tiny bit on any redness around my nose or blemishes. After foundation and concealer, it’s time to set everything in place, especially for a long-lasting look. The Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is a game-changer! It's an ultra-fine loose powder that seriously brightens. I use a fluffy powder puff (like the one shown in the tutorial images!) to lightly press the powder under my eyes and T-zone. This technique helps to "bake" the concealer slightly, preventing creasing and giving that smooth, airbrushed effect. Don't go overboard, a little goes a long way to avoid a cakey finish. Finally, to complete the look and make my eyes pop, I reach for the Lancôme Idôle Mascara. I curl my lashes first, then wiggle the wand from the base of my lashes right up to the tips. The small bristles are amazing because they coat every single lash, giving incredible length, volume, and lift without any clumps. I usually do two coats for extra drama. This whole routine takes me about 10-15 minutes, and it leaves me feeling polished and fresh, without that heavy makeup feeling. It’s perfect for everyday wear or dressing it up a bit. And seriously, with the Sephora sale coming up, these are definitely worth grabbing to try out this easy, beginner-friendly tutorial yourself!
