As a kindergarten teacher certified in early childhood education just last year, I know firsthand how important it is to have a supportive community of educators. Starting my teaching job was an exciting yet challenging experience—especially landing a role only days before meeting my students. Setting up my classroom took three long days, but creating a welcoming environment for little learners made every effort worthwhile. Over the past two years, education has changed so much, from incorporating new teaching strategies to adapting to shifting student needs. I initially moved up a grade with my students to first grade but decided to return to kindergarten for the 2025/26 school year because that early foundation stage truly inspires me. Sharing resources, ideas, and encouragement with fellow educators fosters growth and helps combat the isolation that sometimes accompanies teaching.
