Rating energy drinks cuz I’ve had cuz I’ve had a l
Okay, so you know how we all have our go-to energy boosters? Lately, I've been on a mission to really figure out which ones deliver the best kick, taste, and overall vibe. My locker shelf is practically overflowing with energy drink cans! And let's be real, the big three everyone talks about are Celsius, Red Bull, and Monster. So, I grabbed my favorite blue energy drink and decided it was time for a proper showdown based on my personal ratings. First up, Celsius. For me, this is usually a 9/10. I love that it feels like a 'cleaner' energy boost. It's often a sparkling energy drink, and the flavors are usually crisp and refreshing, not overly sweet. I usually reach for Celsius when I need a pre-workout pick-me-up or just want to feel focused without the jitters. It's got that metabolic-boosting blend and doesn't leave me with a crash later. The Peach Vibe is absolutely a 10/10 in my book, especially when I'm chilling by the swimming pool on a sunny day! Then there's Red Bull. This classic gets an 8/10 from me. You know exactly what you're getting with Red Bull – that distinctive taste and a super reliable burst of energy. It’s perfect for those moments when you need an immediate wake-up call, like during a long drive when I have two hands holding two blue energy drink cans inside a vehicle, or pulling an all-nighter. While the original flavor is iconic, I've been enjoying some of their Editions, especially the blue one you sometimes see me holding. It's not as 'healthy' feeling as Celsius, but it gets the job done when you need that traditional energy drink experience. And finally, Monster Energy. Oh, Monster! This one is tricky because there are so many varieties. Overall, it’s a solid 8/10, but some specific cans are 10/10 or even a crazy 100/10! The Monster Ultra series, with their zero sugar options, are definitely up there for me. The white can with the monster logo over a brick surface is a staple, giving a strong, sustained energy boost without the sugar crash. I've also tried some of their more colorful energy drink cans, like the watermelon design, which are super tasty. However, some of the original Monster flavors can be a bit too sweet for my everyday go-to, sometimes earning them a 3/10 or 4/10 if I'm not in the mood. I even had a pink energy drink can with a bag of gummy candy once, and that was definitely a 3/10 for the drink! When it comes down to comparing them, Celsius is my top pick for a sustained, 'healthier' feeling boost if I'm looking for focus or a workout. Red Bull is my trusty friend for a quick, potent kick when I need that immediate jolt. And Monster offers incredible variety, perfect for whatever mood or flavor craving strikes you, from light fruity notes to heavier coffee blends. Each has its place in my routine, whether I'm grabbing one from my locker shelf before heading out or picking one up on the go. It’s all about finding what works for your energy needs and taste buds! Which one of these powerhouse energy drinks makes it into your top ratings? Let me know!
