Here’s my reading wrap up

So without spoiling what they are about cause no one likes spoilers:

🐦‍⬛Butcher and Blackbird are about two serial killers that slowly fall for each other. I found this book very well written and it had a lot of funny parts to it. I could hardly put it down, the slow burn is worth it too.

💕Chokehold: is about two stepbrothers who can’t stand each other in the beginning, but that slowly changes. One has a dark past and one wants to help him at any chance he can. This book I read FAST, it was that good. There were parts that made me tear up, but I was routing for them. The best part is it’s two authors who wrote this, one point of view is from Leigh and the other is from the other author. It really gives you insight on how both write and ties together nicely.

🎃Myers: This is a short book about a man that had a bad childhood, but cared for this little girl, who made the bad not seem it. He ends up snapping over protecting her and takes down people in her way however he chooses. This book was a great Halloween read for sure. I enjoyed reading this and I hope it gets made into a series. But their are some trigger warnings like CSA. So please be advice before dropping in.

🕷️Little stranger: This is one of the popular book too books going around. It involves two adoptive siblings, each with a bad past, that get adopted by a richer family. Malachi can’t speak due to his past, while Olivia doesn’t let that bother her. Things start at normal, until they start to get feelings for each other. It starts off from Olivia’s point of view then shifts to Malachi’s. This book had me screaming at the books at times and gasping in others.

🕸️Little liar: the second book in the series. This book I feel had more of the feelings and tied up loose ends that little stranger made for us. It starts from Malachi’s point of view and then shifts to Olivia’s. It was a great ending to the series.

🪓Slay less: this is the 2nd book in the final girls series. But keep in mind each is their own story so you can read them however you please. They are made to be set up like watching an old horror movie, but with some spice. This book was Micheal myers, involving two step siblings that go on vacation to a hotel. But little did they know the hotel has its secrets. I really enjoyed this book, it kept me on my toes. When I thought I knew something I was wrong, but it also had some gasping moments.

🔪slash or pass: this is the 1st book in the final girls series. This one is based off scream, with three point of views. This MFM book involves Eisley- a curvey gothic witchy girl, Kansas- a tatted emo vibe man, and Constantine- a dark hair blue eye hunk, that escaped from a cult and later grew up, thinking one had not gotten away. But he comes back and with secrets. This books was my first read into the series and I really liked it. It made me feel like I was watching my own spin off of scream in a way.

🗡️Knife, comment, share: this is the 3rd final girls book in the series. This one is Jason Voorhees based. It is about two best friends who watch the theme parks heiress escape, wanting nothing to do with her rich life. Later to be met with her agian as she is drug back. But things have changed in the years they have been apart and they are set to kill her. This book was really good as well, but the only reference I got to Jason was the drowning of a character and camp. Other than that, very interesting read and extra spicy.

📿 Thots and Prayers: this is a novella of slash or pass. This is basically a short story that happens after slash or pass with the old gang. This time involving becoming stranded in a deserted town, fake names, and becoming a fake priest. I found this one really funny and was great to see the old crew agian.
