Kitchen Reset Part 2:What I Actually Use Every Day
🚿 Mona’s Random Thoughts:
Yesterday I shared those "reset habits" that completely transformed my life. Today, I’m opening up my kitchen cabinets to give you all a full look!
As a Sourcing Specialist, my definition of "good to use" is extremely strict✨:
.Must be easy to maintain (Say no to dust-collecting gadgets!).
. Visual consistency in layout (This is where the sense of healing comes from).
❔Some sisters might ask me: "Mona, can you really reset your kitchen in just 3 minutes every day?"
To be honest, without this set of "handy weapons," I probably couldn't do it either.
🧼My personal experience:
.About the storage bins: Choosing the ones with wheels is so important! They pull out effortlessly, and you can see all your grains and sundries at a glance.
. About the airtight jars: Sometimes it’s really not necessary to chase after the ultimate newest models. Some minimalist transparent styles not only let you see the remaining amount clearly but also create a "sense of order" when placed together that truly improves your mood instantly.
I’ve always believed that good habits are the software, while good tools are the hardware. When your kitchen tools are easy to use, cleaning and resetting stop being "housework" and become a way to decompress. 🧘♀️✨
Every single item in this kitchen is a "true love" that stayed after I compared N different sources. I don’t seek quantity, only quality.
🔖Sis, where do you think is the hardest place in the kitchen to keep clean? You can tell me, and Mona will help you find the solution!

Maintaining a tidy and functional kitchen is something many of us strive for, but it can often feel overwhelming, especially when clutter and hard-to-clean spots accumulate. Through my personal journey as someone who values both practicality and aesthetics, I've found that selecting the right kitchen tools and storage solutions makes all the difference in creating a space that not only looks welcoming but also supports daily efficiency. One key insight I've discovered is the importance of choosing storage bins with wheels. These aren't just convenient; they make accessing ingredients like grains and sundries effortless, allowing me to pull out what I need without fumbling or creating a mess. This simple choice has dramatically reduced the time I spend searching through my cabinets and has kept everything neatly organized. Another essential element is the use of clear, airtight jars for storage. While it might seem tempting to invest in the latest, trendiest containers, I've learned that minimalist transparent styles are truly the best. They give an immediate visual cue of how much remains inside, prevent food spoilage, and when grouped together, create a harmonious layout that brings a real sense of order and calm to the kitchen. This kind of visual consistency isn't just pleasing to the eyes; it positively influences my mood and how much I enjoy spending time cooking or cleaning. I also emphasize the philosophy that good habits are the software, and good tools are the hardware of a successful kitchen reset routine. When your essentials are thoughtfully chosen and easy to maintain, the daily task of resetting the kitchen stops feeling like tedious housework. Instead, it becomes a therapeutic practice — a moment to decompress and regain control over my space. Finally, I focus on quality over quantity. Every item I keep has been carefully sourced and verified through numerous comparisons. This ensures that only the most useful and durable products remain part of my kitchen, reinforcing my commitment to simplicity and functionality. For those struggling with the hardest places to keep clean—whether it's greasy stove areas, cluttered countertops, or crowded drawers—consider redefining your storage approach. Incorporating wheeled bins and transparent jars might be a game-changer. From my experience, these small but deliberate changes encourage daily maintenance, reduce clutter, and inject peace into a space that often feels chaotic. Hopefully, these insights inspire you to take small steps toward a kitchen that truly works for you!
