If you're exploring Seoul and want exceptional coffee, definitely check out Rewire Coffee. From my visit, I found it to have the best coffee in the city—rich, well-crafted, and worth every penny. Though the space is small and food options limited, the coffee quality more than makes up for it. Besides Rewire Coffee, Seoul offers a wide range of cafe experiences. I loved Osulloc Tea House in Bukchon for their amazing matcha—so good that I bought the powder to enjoy at home. If you're a fan of aesthetic vibes, the Rain Report cafe with its black sesame latte was a unique and unforgettable place to relax. However, not every cafe lived up to the hype. Places like Super Matcha and Cheongsudang had beautiful settings but drinks that underwhelmed me. It reminded me that sometimes the atmosphere alone doesn’t guarantee delicious coffee or tea. For those who enjoy cakes alongside coffee, Casanello Sicily had a great selection paired with good coffee that made it a memorable stop. And if you want to explore cafes associated with Korean pop culture, Standard Bread is known as BP Jisoo’s favorite and truly lives up to the buzz. Overall, my cafe tour in Seoul was a mix of hidden gems and tourist favorites, and Rewire Coffee definitely stole the show for coffee lovers. When visiting, consider what vibe and flavors you prefer, as Seoul's cafe scene has something unique for everyone.
