My face before pregnancy…
Pregnancy can change a lot about your body, your face, your skin, and your overall appearance! The good news is, it doesn’t last! And the even better news is that for a lot of women their appearance doesn’t change at all. But here are some ways that pregnancy can change your appearance…
1: your boobs get bigger!
This is the most common, and most commonly welcomed pregnancy appearance change! I love this part of pregnancy! 🤣 my bra size usually quadrupoles in pregnancy and I nor my husband is complaining.
2: pregnancy nose. Yes, this is actually a thing! Thankfully it’s one way my appearance hasn’t changed with any of my pregnancies.
3: varicose veins.
Quite normal, but again, thankfully something I’ve never had to deal with!
4: weight gain
This is my number one appearance related change during pregnancy! No matter how healthy I eat, or how much I work out my body naturally put on a lot of weight during pregnancy. I used to struggle with us a lot, but over the years and as I’ve had multiple pregnancies, I’ve grown to get used to it and know that it’s just a stage of life and nothing to be fearful of!
5: puffiness
Especially in the third trimester, you’ll find yourself getting coffee, and for many women in their hands and feet will also start getting swollen.
6: Linea nigra. This is where you have a dark line across your belly, which for me has happened twice out of my three full term pregnancies !
7: acne
I don’t normally get acne, but I definitely noticed that when my body goes through big hormonal changes, I will start having a few pimples popping up here and there! Usually a good skin care routine will help clear up my skin right away.
8: stretch marks.
I haven’t had a ton of stretch marks, but every pregnancy had a few more and I couldn’t quite honestly say this is probably the appearance change that bothers me the least! I do not find stretch marks ugly at all, on others, or myself.

Pregnancy often brings about various physical changes that can be surprising for many women. The first noticeable change is usually an increase in breast size, which is welcomed by most. Additionally, some might experience what's been termed as 'pregnancy nose,' where the nose may swell slightly due to hormonal shifts. Varicose veins are another common symptom, which can occur as blood volume increases and circulation changes. Weight gain is an expected part of carrying a baby, and women often find that no matter how healthy their diets or exercise routines might be, some weight gain is inevitable. This is perfectly natural, and many women learn to embrace these changes as part of their unique journey into motherhood. Puffiness, especially noticeable in the third trimester, is another common occurrence due to fluid retention. The linea nigra, a dark line that may appear across the belly, is a typical pregnancy sign, experienced by many women. Hormonal changes can also lead to unexpected acne flare-ups, but maintaining a proper skincare routine can mitigate these effects. Finally, while the concern over stretch marks is common, they are seen by many as a badge of honor, reflecting the beautiful journey of bringing new life into the world. The important takeaway is to cherish the changes as stages of life that highlight the strength and resilience of the female body during pregnancy.

I mean this in the nicest way but you can definitely tell you got pregnancy nose! But it happens to all of us
