3rd Trimester Pamper Routine

My 3rd trimester pamper routine is an almost daily routine, and as you can see, very realistic.

It usually just involves me taking a nice hot epsom salt bath, drinking something sweet, and reading a book. Sometimes I throw in a face masks or hair mask (or both) for an extra pamper!

We are a middle class family, living off of one income, with our 3rd baby boy on the way. I’d love to go have a spa day or get acrylics but in this economy that’s kind of out of the budget… and that’s ok! You can have a luxurious spa day right at home!

I love the time it gives me to just relax, unplug, and enjoy a quiet moment to myself while my husband plays with the kids after work, and usually puts them to bed as well.

It leaves me feeling refreshed and ready for a good night of sleep… and I’m enjoying every good night of sleep that I get since I’m in the end stretch of pregnancy and will be having the baby any day now!

Integrating a soothing Epsom salt bath into your routine can provide relief from sore muscles and enhance relaxation. A hot bath not only helps reduce stress but also prepares your body for restful sleep, crucial during this final stretch of pregnancy. In addition to baths, consider enjoying a nourishing glass of sparkling grape juice or soothing herbal teas, which can be a delightful treat while keeping you hydrated. Pair that with an engaging book for some mental escapism, providing you a perfect way to unwind and take a break from the bustling preparations for your baby. Utilizing face masks or hair masks during this pampering session can elevate your self-care experience by making you feel fresh and revitalized. It's a great opportunity to pamper yourself without the high costs of a spa day. You can create an at-home spa experience that caters to your needs and budget. As a busy mom, taking these moments for yourself is not just about luxury; it's about self-preservation and mental well-being. Soak your cares away and embrace this time. Remember, enjoying small luxuries is not just beneficial for your physical health but can also positively impact your emotional state as you prepare for the exciting journey of motherhood.
