Ingredients:
Ricotta- 32 ounces
Eggs- 2 large
Salt- 1 TSP
Basil- 1 TSP
Pepper- 1/4 TSP
Parmesan cheese (grated)- 1/4 cup
Marinara sauce- 48 ounces
Penne noodles- 12 ounces
Mozzarella cheese (shredded)- 16 ounces
Detailed Steps:
• Spray entire crock pot insert with non-stick spray
• In a large bowl, mix ricotta with 2 large eggs, ¼ cup parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper
1. Cover bottom of crock pot with sauce
2. Layer pasta on top of the sauce
3. Take 5 scoops of the ricotta mixture and drop it onto the sauce
4. Top with layer of mozzarella cheese
5. Repeat steps 3-5 two more times
6. End with layer of sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan
7. Cook on high for 2 ½ hours
8. Serve with grated parmesan cheese on top
