It is essential to approach this milestone with sensitivity, as it can deeply affect both the daughter and her caregiver. Many girls might feel anxious or uneasy about the changes their bodies are undergoing, which makes a supportive and understanding environment crucial. Open dialogue between mother and daughter helps normalize menstruation and dismantles any stigma associated with it. Sharing personal stories or simply being present to listen can provide comfort and reassurance. It's also important to educate daughters about menstrual health, hygiene practices, and what to expect throughout their cycle. Including the daughter in decisions like whether to share her experience publicly, as reflected in the story, empowers her and respects her autonomy. Social platforms such as TikTok or community forums can serve as valuable resources for both mothers and daughters to exchange advice, find solidarity, and access educational content. Moreover, recognizing the emotional side of menstruation—beyond just the physical aspects—acknowledges the full experience of young girls. Celebrating this milestone with kindness and empathy strengthens family bonds and contributes to positive self-image and confidence in young women as they grow.

I was 10 too it came on my 10th birthday while I was wearing white jeans at school in the middle of class and a boy sitting next to me saw me when I stood up and I was crying because it was all over my pants and was in back of the class , he got up and gave me his jacket to wrap around me and walked with me to the office.
