I honestly thought I’d gain weight on vacation… 😅
We just got back from an incredible trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona with my granddaughters, and I was fully expecting the scale to go up.
We ate at restaurants, grabbed food on the road, enjoyed ice cream, and definitely had some vacation treats. While I tried to make healthier choices when I could—like fresh fruit and balanced meals—it wasn’t my normal routine.
This morning I stepped on the scale…
✨ 156 lbs.
I actually lost 2 pounds while on vacation.
For me, that’s huge.
Back in March, I weighed 173 lbs and felt completely stuck. I had already lost weight through dieting, but then I hit a plateau. No matter how closely I watched my calories, the scale just wouldn’t move.
The one thing I changed?
I started taking Balance Oil consistently every single day and focused on reducing processed foods whenever possible.
Even on vacation, the one thing I never skipped was my Balance Oil.
My Omega-6:3 balance test went from 59:1 to 5:1 in just four months. I’m still working toward my goal, but seeing that kind of progress, and more importantly, feeling it—has been incredible.
The biggest difference isn’t even the number on the scale.
❤️ I walked all over the Grand Canyon.
🥾 I hiked in Sedona with my granddaughters.
💪 I had the energy to keep up with them all day.
🦶 My foot pain from an old injury is essentially gone.
My goal is still 145 lbs, but I’m so grateful for how far I’ve come.
If you’ve been doing everything “right” and still feel stuck, it may be worth looking beyond calories and considering what’s happening at the cellular level.
This is simply my personal experience, but it’s been life-changing for me. 💚

During my recent vacation at the Grand Canyon and Sedona, I realized that maintaining my health and weight loss journey doesn't solely rely on calorie counting or restricting indulgences. Even though I enjoyed some ice cream and restaurant meals, I stuck to my daily Balance Oil supplement and made conscious choices to limit processed foods. This consistent habit helped me significantly improve my cellular health, reflected in a remarkable shift in my Omega-6:3 balance from 59:1 to 5:1 over four months. This balance is crucial because it influences inflammation and overall metabolic function at the cellular level, which many people overlook while focusing only on diet and exercise. My experience confirms that good cellular health can empower the body’s ability to burn fat more effectively and support sustained energy levels, which allowed me to actively hike and explore with my granddaughters without feeling drained. Another profound benefit was the relief from lingering foot pain caused by an old injury, showing that improving nutritional balance and cellular function can have wide-ranging wellness impacts beyond weight loss. If you've hit a plateau despite trying various diets, consider evaluating the quality of fats you consume and integrating supplements that help balance essential fatty acids. Overall, my vacation taught me that a flexible, mindful approach balancing enjoyment and health consistency is sustainable and rewarding. For anyone struggling with stubborn weight or energy issues, exploring cellular health and Omega balance could be a transformative step.
