Do we look alike?

It's always so fascinating how family traits get passed down through generations, isn't it? When people tell me my granddaughter and I share a resemblance, it truly warms my heart. It makes me think about all the little things that connect us, beyond just our shared history and love. For instance, even though I have long blonde hair and she has beautiful dark hair, some people often comment on our smiles being similar, especially when I'm flashing my braces! Or maybe it’s the way we both crinkle our eyes when we laugh, or a certain tilt of our heads when we're listening intently. I often find myself looking at her, especially when she's wearing her favorite heart necklace or a grey shirt with yellow lettering, and thinking, 'Yes, I definitely see a bit of me in her!'
