It’s fascinating to walk through the preserved earthworks and explore the museum's collection. No trip to Carolina Beach is complete without stopping by Britts Donuts, a local institution famous since 1939. Their freshly made donuts, especially enjoyed on the boardwalk, add a delicious treat to your beach day. Safety is important, too. The town has clear beach rules displayed at entrances, including rip current warnings and emergency contacts. This preparedness adds an extra layer of security so that families and visitors can enjoy their time with peace of mind. Throughout summer, the beach hosts fireworks every Thursday night, a perfect way to end a beach day with spectacular views under the night sky. Watching the golden hour, as the sun sets over the ocean, captures the essence of Carolina Beach’s charm. For those who appreciate art, the town is also known for its colorful murals that decorate many wall spaces, adding to the seaside town’s unique character.
