6.90 POKKA JASMINE GREEN TEA??

Ok. I tried molly tea out. Here's my review:

What I got:

Snowy jasmine : 6/10

Let me tell you, 70% sugar is the EXACT same taste as pokka jasmine green tea. The whipped cream and walnuts were nothing too special and the whipped cream had a very buttery taste, not sweet at all. Was it worth for the price? No.

Ok, I got try other ones oso so NO I'm not insular

Snowy white champaca 70% :7/10

This one just tastes like tea. IMO better that the snowy jasmine. Worth your penny more as you would have at least tried out a new flavour. Strong tea taste, but not too bad.

Match White champaca 70% : 4/10

I didnt like this one one bit. The salt was too much for me but the matcha was quite nice ngl. Maybe matcha lovers, dont pick this option if you dont like salted cheese, but other friends loved it. Tastes a bit more savoury than luckin's slated cheese topping.

Overall, this feels not living up to the hype. We pre=ordered via the app, so our wait time was around 20 minutes from ordering online, not bad ngl. Would not try this again as this nothing special and worth. But, it is worth a try to try it out at least once. In the and, these drinks are mass produced with little to no time taken to actually make it, with pre-produced everything, so you get what u see.

... Read moreHaving sampled various flavors of Molly Tea, I can share some personal insights that might help you decide if it's worth trying beyond the initial hype. One thing I noticed is that the sweetness level, particularly the 70% sugar content, strongly influences the taste profile, making some drinks almost indistinguishable from more common jasmine green teas such as Pokka. For example, the snowy jasmine flavor felt a bit too sweet for my palate and the toppings like whipped cream and walnuts did not add much in terms of texture or flavor enhancement. The buttery flavor of the whipped cream was unexpected and might not appeal to those who prefer a sweet creaminess. On the other hand, the snowy white champaca offered a bolder tea presence with less overwhelming sweetness, delivering a refreshingly strong but balanced tea taste. This made it feel more premium and justified its price, rewarding those curious about new tea varieties. Its floral undertone also complemented the fragrance often associated with champaca species. The matcha variant, featuring a salted cheese topping, is rather polarizing. Though I’m not a big fan of savory notes in my tea, matcha enthusiasts might appreciate this for its unique twist. It provides a creamy, slightly salty experience somewhat reminiscent of salted cheese toppings at other bubble tea chains, but a bit stronger. Friends who enjoy fusion flavors seemed to enjoy this more than I did. Ordering via the app was convenient and the roughly 20-minute wait time was reasonable given the growing popularity of Molly Tea. However, one must temper expectations as these drinks appear mass-produced with pre-prepared components, which contrasts with hand-crafted specialty teas that might have a fresher taste. Overall, Molly Tea is probably best approached as a one-time experience to explore new tea flavor combinations rather than a replacement for traditional jasmine green tea or classic matcha drinks. If you enjoy experimenting with tea beverages and are open to fusion styles, the snowy white champaca is likely the standout choice. But if you seek authentic, artisanal tea made fresh with natural toppings, you might want to look elsewhere. From my experience, a few sips are enough to decide if their style matches your preferences, so sampling several flavors during a single visit might be the best way to find your favorite. This approach also allows you to appreciate the nuances without spending too much on drinks that might not be your cup of tea.
