Healthy Adult Lunchable or Small Meal

This is a good healthy snack or small meal for those who eat multiple times a day in small portions.

3 simple ingredients and you can get as healthy with alternatives as you want. Dairy feee cheese, your favorite crackers or a different kind of meat or meat substitute.

🍚 I chose gluten-free multigrain rice crackers as a healthy alternative. You get quite a bit of crackers in one serving and you don’t even have to eat that many for a small snack or if you’re eating a meal, you could eat the full serving.

🥩 My protein of choice was Genoa salami. You can definitely choose a V option. Genoa is not the healthiest option due to sodium but in moderation and with high water intake that can be balanced.

🧀 I chose sargento pepper jack. Sargento is usually the best option when it comes to some of these shelf options over craft and some other brands. Cheese has a higher sodium content as well when they are flavorful like this but again with moderate usage and water intake that can definitely be combated. If you cut the block into sevenths one of those seven slices is only 100 calories.

With the recommended serving size or if you cut it in half you can have a small snack for under 250 cal or a small meal for less than 350.

Add a sparkling water or tea and a fruit of choice and you have a filling healthy option. #balancedsnacks #adultlunchables #snack

A well-structured lunchable can include protein-rich selections like Genoa salami, which, though higher in sodium, can be enjoyed in moderation alongside gluten-free multigrain crackers for a crunchy bite. Adding high-quality cheese such as Sargento pepper jack enhances flavor while keeping calorie counts reasonable. In fact, you can manage a small meal for less than 350 calories, making it an excellent choice for busy days. To further enhance your lunchable, consider pairing it with a refreshing sparkling water or herbal tea. Include a piece of seasonal fruit to satisfy your sweet tooth and bump up your fiber intake. Deli meats and cheeses are versatile; however, for a healthier option, opt for lean turkey or cheese substitutes to lower sodium levels. This balanced approach ensures flavor without compromising your health goals. So, the next time you’re juggling a busy schedule, remember that healthy eating can be just as simple as assembling your own adult lunchable. It's an easy way to keep your energy up while enjoying guilt-free indulgence throughout your day!
