This audio reminds me of this passage in the bible where Paul in Philippians 3:12-16 writes:
✨ 12 I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.
✨ 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,
✨ 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
✨ 15 Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you.
✨ 16 But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.
God calls us to forget the past and keep going forward. To not forget how far he has brought us but to not dwell on the past. In this season of my life, worship to me looks like pressing on with the tasks he has given me to do, the dreams he placed in my heart. Thinking less and doing more. Doing my best everyday, seeking Him in all I do and all the glory is His for what is accomplished for only through Him do we really get what we need and want.
I used to not understand how people felt this way, why believers were so “obsessed” with God. But now I am one of them 🤍
Good day everyone 🫶🏼

Reflecting on Philippians 3:12-16 inspires me deeply, especially in moments when moving forward feels challenging. The passage’s emphasis on "pressing on" and "forgetting the past" resonates personally—it's a reminder that spiritual growth is ongoing and not about perfection achieved once and for all. In my own experience, adopting this mindset has helped me overcome setbacks and disappointments by focusing on progress, not perfection. Instead of dwelling on past failures, embracing this scripture encourages me to redirect my energy toward the dreams and tasks God has placed before me. It’s about persistence and trusting that each step, no matter how small, is part of a bigger plan. The journey of faith involves continuous effort—doing less thinking about doubts or setbacks and more action rooted in faith. When I commit to doing my best daily, seeking God’s guidance in all I undertake, I feel a profound sense of peace and purpose. It’s in this daily dedication that worship becomes more than rituals; it transforms into an active pursuit of God’s will. The encouragement that "all who are spiritually mature agree on these things" reminds me that doubt and questions are natural, yet God promises to clarify truths as we seek Him sincerely. This reassurance has helped me accept my imperfections while striving to improve spiritually. Also, the idea of holding on to the progress already made encourages a balanced view—celebrating how far I’ve come without becoming complacent. Each day is a new chance to press on toward the "heavenly prize," which gives hope and motivation. Incorporating these insights into everyday life fosters resilience. For example, when facing difficult seasons, recalling that "God calls us to forget the past and keep going forward" shifts my perspective from despair to hopeful action. It reminds me that my faith journey isn’t about past disappointments but about trusting God’s timing and plans. This approach has not only deepened my worship but also changed how I engage with challenges like those faced in various personal or professional pursuits. Whether you’re navigating faith, career, or personal dreams, this passage is a powerful encouragement to press on, do your best, and trust God fully.
