2026- year of taking back

Hello fellow Lemons 🍋 (imma work on a better name). 2026 is going to be the year of Take back for me….meaning take back time and getting back to me. The last to years I have been trying to figure out the new me after becoming a first time mommy (I love it 🥰) I feel like 2026 just has to be the year for me…. Fun fact I love to write things down so I went down the rabbit 🐰 hole 🕳️ for planners and settled on joining the Hobonichi cult 😬😁. Sooooo excited 😆 can’t wait to create, share and meet new people with the same interests or different.

For new moms especially, 2026 represents an opportunity to reclaim time and focus on self-growth after the whirlwind of early parenthood. One popular method to support this growth is intentional journaling or planner use. Hobonichi planners, known for their flexibility and creative appeal, have a loyal following due to their ability to combine daily scheduling with personal reflection and artistic expression. Using a planner like Hobonichi not only helps organize day-to-day tasks but also serves as a mindful practice that encourages self-awareness and deliberate living. Writing down thoughts, goals, and small victories can significantly boost motivation and mental well-being, which is vital when balancing motherhood and personal aspirations. Additionally, stepping out of comfort zones, as expressed, could mean trying new hobbies, joining communities, or simply giving oneself permission to prioritize personal needs. This approach of 'taking back time' aligns well with broader trends in wellness and work-life balance, helping individuals build a more fulfilling life. Whether you’re a new mom or someone seeking to rediscover yourself, embracing tools that promote creativity and focus—like planners—and adopting a mindset of growth can make a powerful difference. 2026 is a great moment to start small but meaningful changes that help you nurture the 'new you' and connect authentically with others on similar journeys.
