In honor of #IndieAuthorMonth, I’m spotlighting Abby Anne Korver and her wonderful debut, The Mender’s Curse—a classic fantasy full of magic, rebellion, heart, and healing.

The cast is rich and memorable (Oz and Asa are favs!), and the relationship between the main characters, Liam and Sapphira is mature and refreshingly sweet. Add in great disability rep and themes of found family, and you’ve got a story that feels both epic and deeply human.
