Recent Crochet Tutorials and Patterns!๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ’

I was NOT expecting my last crochet post to gain as much traction as it did, thank you all so much!! ๐Ÿ’• As I promised in the comments, the long awaited tutorials and patterns are here for your enjoyment ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ Iโ€™m also thinking of doing a โ€œwhat I wish I knew when I began crochetingโ€ or a โ€œbeginners crochet 101โ€ post since it seems like a lot of yโ€™all are eager to learn!!

1) The flower garland ๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒธ I followed this tutorial and made the end vines 3 leaves long, the middle vines 4 leaves long, and the center vine 5 leaves long! I super glued the vines on a wooden dowel along with a long chain of brown yarn so I can hang them up. Then I just tied the little flowers individually to my hearts content :) This project is so customizable that you can make them as long or short or whatever color you want!

2) The heart coaster ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’˜ I made one initially to use as a wall hanging since Iโ€™ve been trying to spice up my room, but I ended up using it as a little coaster under some LEGO orchids I have on display instead. The ruffles stick out just under the vase part and I love it!

3) Tapestries ๐Ÿงธ๐ŸŒธโ˜๏ธ Mahumโ€™s YouTube channel in general has AMAZING and adorable tutorials, but I used this one specifically to learn how to do tapestry crochet in general and applied her tips to all my projects. All the alpha/grid patterns I used are listed here as well in order of difficulty. Each box on the grid represents a single crochet in that color (or whatever color you choose!) and you just go up in rows and change colors as needed. Her tutorial is much better than anything I could explain in words LOL but there are also plenty of tapestry tutorials on YouTube if hers doesnโ€™t suit your fancy!

Best of luck to you all in your crochet journeys! Whether youโ€™re just learning, or youโ€™re already a pro just looking for #crochetinspiration , I know youโ€™ll do great!! Comment down below if you have any questions or other ideas so other people (and I) can get some new projects! ๐Ÿฆ‹โ˜๏ธ๐ŸŒท

I canโ€™t crochet a thingโ€ฆ yet but my boyfriend can. I am so jealous. I watched my aunt do it as a child but I feel like I wouldnโ€™t pay attention and mess up a good chunk of it
