My 2023 year in photos 🥰

Looking back at 2023, there's no doubt that getting my sweet puppy, Yuna, was one of the absolute highlights. It feels like just yesterday I was bringing home this small white puppy, a tiny bundle of fluff that instantly stole my heart. I still have this vivid memory of her sleeping peacefully on a gray blanket draped over the couch, a little angel making herself right at home. That first week was a whirlwind of puppy cuddles, potty training triumphs (and a few misses!), and just soaking in all her adorable puppy energy. She transformed our house into a home filled with happy barks and playful pounces. Yuna quickly became the little shadow I never knew I needed. Her playful antics and boundless energy brought so much laughter into our home. She has this charming habit of nudging your hand for pets and giving the sweetest puppy kisses. Her favorite game is definitely fetch with her squeaky tennis ball, and she’ll bring it right to you with the most hopeful eyes. It wasn't long before I realized I was constantly snapping photos and videos of her – every yawn, every zoomie, every nap was just too cute not to capture! That's actually why I ended up starting a dog Instagram for her and my other furry friend. It's been a blast sharing their daily adventures, funny quirks, and even some of our favorite dog-friendly spots and treats. It’s amazing how much joy it brings to connect with other pet parents online and celebrate all the 'moments with Yuna' together. Beyond the cuteness, Yuna has truly changed my routine for the better. My fitness journey, which I also embarked on in 2023, got a fantastic boost thanks to her need for daily walks and playtime. There’s nothing quite like a brisk morning stroll with my two dogs, enjoying the fresh air and watching them chase squirrels (unsuccessfully, bless their hearts!). Even when I was off exploring places like Universal Studios for the first time or enjoying a sweet treat at the Hello Kitty Cafe, knowing I'd come home to her wagging tail made every experience even richer. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious, and she has this incredible ability to make even the simplest moments feel extraordinary. Raising Yuna this past year has taught me so much about patience, unconditional love, and living in the present. From choosing her first collar to teaching her new tricks, every step of her development has been a rewarding experience. The bond we've built is something truly special. She's not just a pet; she's a beloved family member who brings so much warmth and happiness into our lives. She's grown quite a bit from that sleepy little pup on the blanket, now an energetic and loving companion. As we stepped into the new year, I found myself looking forward to all the new 'moments with Yuna' that 2024 has in store – more adventures, more cuddles, and undoubtedly, many more photos to share!
