Kason is a cocky/ selfish snowboarder who rules the slopes and campus, all while trying to pass a class he needs in order to graduate. Shay is a shy science nerd in her first year of college on a full ride scholarship. She just wants to get her degree and put her horrible childhood behind her. But is blackmailed by Kason into tutoring him.
Shay and Kason have chemistry and connection, Even though Kason was a total dick to Shay when they first interact with each other. I really enjoyed the push and pull and how they slowly built friendships and then a relationship. It was perfection.
Their study sessions were cuteee and I liked how Kason put in the work to win her back when he messed up and hurt Shay. Kason growth was my favorite thing about this book. And he definitely redeemed himself by the end.
And I’m so glad Cora got what was coming to her.
I really enjoyed this story. I love reading sport romance books and the fact that this one was about snowboarding made it a bit more special because it’s the first time that I read a story about it.
