... Read moreOMG, you guys have to put Hội An on your couple's travel list! My partner and I just had the most incredible romantic getaway there, and I'm still swooning. If you're looking for a place that feels like stepping into a dream, this is it. The Old Town has such a magical vibe, especially in the evenings. One of our absolute favorite things to do was take a lantern boat ride down the Thu Bồn River after sunset. Imagine floating along, surrounded by thousands of colorful lanterns reflecting on the water, with your loved one right beside you. It’s seriously something out of a fairytale and perfect for a romantic moment (and amazing couple photos!). We also loved just wandering hand-in-hand through the narrow streets. Every corner offers a new discovery, from charming tailor shops where you can get matching outfits made, to quaint cafes perfect for a leisurely coffee break. And let's talk about the food! Hội An is a paradise for couples who love to eat. We took a VIETNAMESECUISINE cooking class together, which was so much fun and a great way to bond. Learning to make authentic dishes like Cao Lầu and White Rose dumplings was an unforgettable experience. For romantic dinners, look for riverside restaurants or hidden gems tucked away on streets like Nguyễn Thái Học. The atmosphere is often so intimate, with soft lighting and delicious local flavors. We even stumbled upon a place that had a beautiful, serene garden – almost like a little "HOA AN SAKURA" oasis, perfect for a quiet meal. Don't forget to embrace the photo opportunities! The golden hour light in Hội An is just divine. The yellow walls, the ancient architecture, and all those vibrant lanterns make for the most stunning backdrops. We seriously filled our camera roll with beautiful memories. Whether you're exploring the Japanese Covered Bridge or just finding a quiet spot by the river, every moment feels special. For the ultimate romantic trip, I’d suggest visiting during the full moon festival when the town really lights up, or just any evening when the lanterns are glowing. This place truly whispers romance at every turn. If you're planning a trip, remember to slow down, soak in the atmosphere, and just enjoy being together in this enchanting destination. You'll leave feeling more connected and with hearts full of beautiful memories.
