🥥salted caramel coconut cold brew
This is my favorite coffee drink I’ve ever made at home and I wanted to share it with you!
First, I put however much ice I want in my cup and then drizzle the sides and ice with Ghirardelli Caramel Sauce and put my desired amount of Monin Coconut Syrup in the bottle of the glass.
Then, add however much of the Trader Joe’s Ready-To-Drink Cold Brew to your glass (however much you add will determine how strong of a coffee taste you get and how much caffeine you consume).
Then, I add some normal 2% milk and a splash of Chobani Sweet Cream and add a sprinkle of Buoy Rescue Salt to the top and stir! This also helps keep you hydrated while drinking caffeine! Sometimes I’ll add some whipped cream to the top too!
Another drink I love is just making a normal matcha latte and adding the Monin Coconut Syrup! So good!

I absolutely adore my salted caramel coconut cold brew, but sometimes I get questions about how to make it just right or what alternatives there are. Since you're here searching for 'salted coconut coffee,' I wanted to share even more tips and tricks to make your homemade drink experience truly amazing! First off, let's talk about that incredible flavor combination. The richness of the caramel sauce, the nutty sweetness of the coconut-flavored gourmet syrup, and the bold kick of iced cold brew coffee create a symphony in a glass. Adding that touch of pure, unrefined sea salt isn't just for taste; it actually enhances all those sweet notes and cuts through the richness, giving you a perfectly balanced drink. It’s like magic! I've tried different brands, but I find the Ghirardelli caramel and Monin coconut syrup really hit the sweet spot for that authentic coffee shop taste right in my kitchen. One of the best things about making this at home is how customizable it is. If you prefer a stronger coffee taste, don't be shy with your ready-to-drink cold brew. I usually eyeball it, but for a super strong kick, fill your glass about halfway. For those who like it sweeter, a little extra caramel sauce or coconut syrup goes a long way. And the salt? That's where personal preference really shines. Start with a tiny sprinkle of that pure, unrefined sea salt on top, just enough to catch on your tongue. You can always add more, but it’s harder to take away! I find it really elevates the whole salted caramel coconut cold brew experience. Want to switch it up? While I love this as a refreshing iced cold brew coffee, this combination can also be fantastic as a hot drink! Just warm up your milk and sweet cream coffee creamer gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, then add the cold brew concentrate (less than for a cold drink, as it will be less diluted) and the other ingredients. You could even try different types of milk, like almond milk for an extra nutty note, or oat milk for a thicker, creamier texture. And for the salt, a sprinkle of flaky sea salt right before serving can add a nice texture and visual appeal. Don't be afraid to experiment with different cold brew concentrates too; some have a naturally sweeter or fruitier profile that can complement the coconut beautifully. Remember how I mentioned the salt helps with hydration? It’s true! Electrolytes in good quality sea salt can help your body absorb water more efficiently, which is a nice bonus when you're enjoying your morning caffeine fix. It's a small detail but makes me feel a little better about indulging in my daily treat. Especially for those of us who forget to drink enough water throughout the day, this little boost can be really helpful. If you're really into the coconut vibe and looking for more drink ideas, don't forget my other favorite: a simple matcha latte with that same Monin coconut syrup. It's a completely different experience but equally delicious and refreshing for an afternoon pick-me-up. Experimenting in your own kitchen is half the fun, and who knows what amazing salted coconut coffee variations you'll discover next! I hope these extra tips help you enjoy your homemade creation even more.
