Soft Life Me Baby!
The new term for being tired is #softlife but truth is I’ve been working since I was 14 years old and I’m just tired. Having my daughters in my early 20’s caused me to work even harder because I had responsibilities, bills to pay, you know mouths to feed. Now I’m in my 40’s and I just want a life of ease. I don’t mind working I just don’t want to work hard. I’m tired of proving myself and over achieving. Not with just work but life all together. I no longer have anything to prove to anyone only to myself. I have to prove to myself that I am worthy and I now deserve a soft life.
Can anyone else relate?
The term ‘soft life’ has gained significant attention, symbolizing a lifestyle focused on ease, peace, and comfort. This concept emphasizes the importance of self-care, mutual relationships, and living intentionally without the constant burden of stress. Many relate to the idea of working hard for many years and finally yearning for a phase of life that embraces relaxation and self-worth. As individuals navigate through responsibilities, it’s essential to recognize the value of prioritizing mental well-being and finding harmony in life. Engaging with the soft life mindset allows people to shift from a culture of overwork to one that encourages balance and fulfillment. Embracing this philosophy not only aids in personal growth but also fosters a community of support where individuals can share their experiences and insights. Acknowledging that everyone deserves moments of tranquility is vital in shifting perspectives about what it means to truly live well. If you find yourself exhausted from life’s demands, this movement may resonate with you and inspire much-needed change in your daily routine.
