Last year I didn’t do a vision board and I felt my life was in shambles and not because I didn’t do a vision board but because God was testing me. Later in the year I created this scripture and prayer wall to remind me of God’s promises. I say all that to say that we will always have trials and tribulations but it’s our faith and hope that gets us through. When life gets hard my vision board reminds me of my reasons why and my prayer wall gives me the strength and wisdom to rely on God’s promises he has for my life 🤍

Beyond the spiritual strength my vision board and prayer wall bring, I’ve found that how they look in my bedroom actually plays a huge role in how much I engage with them daily. It’s not just about what’s on them, but how they blend into my cozy space, creating that feeling of peace and intention.
If you're looking to create your own "vision board wall aesthetic bedroom" setup, I’ve got some tips on how to make it visually stunning and deeply personal. It’s all about creating a corner that inspires you the moment you wake up or before you drift off to sleep.
Designing Your Vision Board for a Dreamy Bedroom:
First off, think about your existing bedroom aesthetic. Do you have a minimalist vibe, a bohemian feel, or something more modern? Your vision board can totally complement this! Instead of just pinning random pictures, try to curate a color palette. For example, if your room has earthy tones, look for images that have greens, browns, and whites. You can use a large cork board, a section of an empty wall, or even a framed magnetic board. I love mixing large, impactful images with smaller, detailed ones. Don't forget to include text – powerful affirmations, quotes, or even just single words that resonate with you, like "Being Intentional," which is such a powerful reminder. I like to print out beautiful fonts or hand-letter them myself. Positioning is key; mine is visible from my bed, so it’s the first thing I see in the morning.
Crafting Your Prayer Wall: Beautiful & Meaningful:
My prayer wall is just as important, and making it aesthetically pleasing encourages me to interact with it more. I started with simple, colorful sticky notes for different prayer categories or promises, which really brightens up that corner of my room. You can assign a color to gratitude, another to specific prayers for loved ones, and another for scripture verses. It makes it easy to spot what you're looking for, and it adds a lovely pop of color! Another idea is to use small index cards and string them across with mini clothespins, creating a subtle, artistic display. I also include little trinkets or dried flowers that hold special meaning to me, alongside framed scriptures. It's a living display of my faith journey.
Creating the Perfect Ambiance with Lighting:
The OCR mentioned a "dimly lit room" for my setup, and I have to say, atmosphere is everything! Soft lighting can truly transform your vision board and prayer wall area into a sacred, reflective space. I've added a string of warm fairy lights around mine, and a small, soft-glowing lamp on my dresser nearby. This creates a gentle glow that makes evening reflection feel so much more intimate and peaceful. It turns a functional space into a beautiful, calming sanctuary.
Making it Yours & Keeping it Fresh:
Remember, your vision board and prayer wall are personal evolving spaces. Don't be afraid to change things up as your goals shift or as you discover new scriptures or inspirations. It's all about making it truly *yours*. Seeing this beautiful, organized, and intentional space in my bedroom each day fills me with such hope and reminds me of God's promises and my deepest desires. It's more than just decor; it's a daily source of strength and beauty.
