WHAT did you say about home organization?? 🏠
Has anyone else been told this?
And felt like you HAD to do one or the other to organize your home? 🏠
Guess what, I don’t live by either of these rules! 🤷♀️
Each space in my house is different, I don’t always need to use bins, and I don’t always have to have a decluttering session to organize it.
While I know these 2 rules have helped a lot of people and do work for some homes and lifestyles, I also know they haven’t helped everyone.
Learn to organize to your own specific needs and lifestyle. Follow rules or methods you find that work specifically for you ❤️

When it comes to home organization, a common misconception is that you need bins or extensive decluttering to achieve an orderly space. Many people feel pressured to conform to these methods, but creativity in organization is key! Here are some helpful ways to redefine your approach: 1. **Personalized Organization**: Tailor your organizing strategies to fit your life. Identify the areas in your home that require organization and determine what method works best for you. 2. **Utilize Vertical Space**: Instead of relying solely on bins, consider using shelving, hooks, or pegboards to maximize your vertical space. This not only saves ground space but also offers decorative storage solutions. 3. **Zoning Techniques**: Create specific zones for different activities within your home. This can help in keeping similar items together, making it easier to find what you need when you need it. 4. **Collaborate with Others**: Involve family members in the organization process. This can foster teamwork, reduce clutter, and encourage everyone to maintain a tidy home together. 5. **Consider Seasonal Changes**: Adjust your organizational strategies based on the season. For instance, during spring cleaning, you can focus on decluttering items that are no longer used or needed, while in winter, think about how to organize holiday decorations efficiently. Remember, the goal of organization is to create a comfortable and functional space for you and your family without adhering to strict rules. Enjoy the process and make it your own!
