Here’s what helps me declutter items ❤️

Decluttering is seen usually as just purging everything and learning to let things go. I like to see a different and more postitive side of it! ☀️

When we let things go that aren’t serving us or the space it’s in, we make room for items we will use. And reclaim our spaces to serve our needs!

It is so hard to let something go you feel you might use or have an attachment too. The answer to this is sorting out what your priorities are. If you want to have a functional, organized space? Or if you want to keep letting too many items control how you live.

I know it’s so hard to let things go.

Decluttering and organizing are a form of self care and you deserve to have your items and spaces serve you. ❤️

Start by identifying your priorities—consider what activities you enjoy and how you want your space to function. One effective method is to categorize items into keep, donate, and discard. This not only helps in decision-making but also creates a visual representation of your progress. Another impactful approach is to practice the 'one in, one out' rule; every time you bring something new into your home, let go of something else. This strategy helps maintain balance and prevents clutter from accumulating. Additionally, consider utilizing storage solutions that keep items organized yet accessible, fostering a calming environment. Setting aside regular time to declutter can also create a habit that makes the process less daunting. Whether it's a weekend or a few minutes a day, consistent efforts will yield satisfying results over time. Remember, the aim of decluttering is to cultivate a space that reflects your life’s priorities—a true sanctuary that promotes well-being and peace of mind.
