Why I pay $2100 a month for a 100yr old home in UT
I know $2100 can either seem like a lot or a little to pay depending on your previous living areas. I personally think it’s a lot more than we should be spending on an 100yr old home that only has 900sq feet of properly finished space.
BUT I have so say I’ve loved living in our home and all of its old charm makes me never want to leave ❤️ I think one day we will move to have a bigger space when our family grows. But for right now it’s been perfect.
And only having to really clean 900sq feet of space is actually the best 🧼
If I had to go back I would buy this house again and pay the same amount per month. Obviously we’d all love our mortgages and rents to be lower, but I will say we got a good deal on our home and I feel lucky to own it. As well as to even have a roof over my head and have a space where I feel completely safe. Which is such a thing to be grateful for. ❤️
