Changing bathroom habits to reduce mold scares 😷

Luckily this bathroom hasn’t had any mold issues and I’m hoping it never will! Even though it’s small and does have a window. I still take all these preventative measures to make sure mold will never appear!

The biggest thing that has helped us was getting a fan. The window is great, but when it’s really hot or if we can’t have it open, we use the fan to get the air flow our bathroom needs.

Another game changer was getting a different bathroom mat. I was so worried about our beautiful tile being ruined by a mold bathroom mat. Luckily this one has been perfect and our floors are still gorgeous!

And placing our shower curtain correctly & leaving it open is I think the biggest reason our shower isn’t molding or smells mildewy!

All these habits are very meticulous but our bathroom is clean and fresh and I’m so happy with it!!

Pay attention to your shower curtain placement as well; it should allow steam to escape and be kept open after use to facilitate drying. Regular cleaning is essential as well—consider using a mixture of baking soda and vinegar to eliminate mold and mildew on your shower curtain. By implementing these proactive strategies, you can maintain a cleaner, healthier bathroom environment and make mold growth a worry of the past.
