How I keep my space fresh & clean without candles✨
I think a truly clean home actually smells like nothing! Overpowering scents can sometimes just be masking or mix in with other scents and just make it overwhelming to be in the home.
I do love candles during the holidays for scents that bring me into the season. But all other times of the year I don’t like having strong scents in my home because it can give me and visitors a headache when it’s too strong!
Guests always talk about how cozy and clean my place feels. That it feels like a clean home! Doing all these tips and keeping up on cleaning helps me to feel peaceful in my home. I don’t have to worry about what my home smells like, because it won’t smell like anything strong! 🤗

A truly clean and fresh home atmosphere doesn't require strong scents or candles. To achieve this, there are several effective strategies you can employ. 1. **Daily Airflow**: Open your windows daily for at least an hour, depending on the weather. This promotes airflow and helps eliminate bad odors, making your home feel more inviting. 2. **Bedding Maintenance**: Wash sheets and pillowcases weekly. Don't forget to wash mattress protectors monthly and comforters every six months to keep your bedding fresh and free of allergens. 3. **Couch and Upholstery Care**: Regularly clean your couches and other upholstery. Wash pillow covers every six months and use an upholstery cleaner for other parts of your furniture to avoid any build-up of dust and allergens. 4. **Carpet Cleaning**: Use a carpet cleaner every month for deep cleaning carpets and rugs. Regular vacuuming with a clean filter weekly will help maintain a dirt-free home. 5. **Gentle Cleaners**: Opt for cleaning products that have mild or light scents, such as lavender-based cleaners. These will keep your home clean without the lingering strong scents often associated with harsh chemicals. By following these tips, you can create a serene, fresh home environment that enhances your living experience.
