Buy this sturdy furniture once & keep it forever 🫶

When moving out or buying a home these 3 things are something almost everyone uses daily! So durability is so important so you aren’t rebuying these products every few years!

A table that will grow with you & your family is probably the most important. Eating there everyday, spilling food & potentially getting lots of blemishes on the table makes a case for needing a durable one! I remember buying a $120 dining table at Walmart and it was so flimsy and felt like it was made of plastic. It was so not worth money and I knew it wouldn’t last. I asked my parents about their old table and was able to take it to my home! It’s very worn but I slapped a tablecloth on there and it’s so cute! And being 20yrs old it still has been a durable table for us. And this table already went through 5 kids with my family 😂

I also believe buying a good tv stand that can double as an entry way table or storage area is so important and always a good investment. And a dresser is an everyday need, so might as well get something that will last!

It depends on your preference but I would personally search thrift stores and FB marketplace for any of these items before buying new. People are throwing out quality furniture like this everyday! So you can help reuse items and save money 💰 🎉

... Read moreDurability and longevity are essential factors when investing in furniture that supports your daily life. The 20-year-old dining table mentioned highlights a key trend: older furniture often provides superior craftsmanship compared to many modern, cheaply made alternatives. Wood furniture, especially solid hardwoods, are renowned for their resilience against wear and tear, making them ideal for frequent use in high-traffic areas. TV stands that are both sturdy and multifunctional serve as critical pieces in home organization. A well-built wood TV stand not only anchors your television securely but frequently doubles as additional storage or an entryway table, combining practicality with style. Opting for furniture that fulfills multiple roles maximizes space and helps maintain a tidy home. Dressers are indispensable in daily routines, offering crucial storage for clothing and accessories. Choosing a durable dresser, whether new or secondhand, reduces waste and ensures your belongings stay well-organized over time. When shopping, exploring thrift stores or online marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace can uncover surprisingly high-quality furniture pieces discarded by others. These opportunities allow you to invest sustainably while saving money. Additionally, using tablecloths and creative DIY projects can refresh and personalize older furniture, covering blemishes and adapting pieces to your aesthetic preferences. This approach extends the life of cherished items rather than replacing them prematurely. By prioritizing quality and longevity in furniture choices, homeowners can enjoy lasting value and reduce the environmental impact associated with frequent replacements. This strategy not only supports sustainable living but fosters a warm, enduring home environment filled with stories and purpose.

1000x yes on old furniture! 3 years ago we spent thousands on living room furniture from Ashley. The coffee table cracked, the tables had scuffs on them, couch broke down. Just cheap fake wood material. I just bought all new(ish) furniture from Goodwill and the quality is so much better and heavy duty. I will never buy brand new furniture again haha
