GO TO THERAPY! YOU DESERVE PEACE! 🤎✨🙌🏾

🤎 Tomorrow will be my 5th session of therapy & it is definitely one the best decisions I ever made

🤎 Your mental health is VERY important

🤎 I am a girl that comes from a family that says "We don't need therapy, just pray about it". & it took me years later of trauma and damage to realize that I can do both.. go to therapy and pray about it!

🤎 My peace is very important and valuable to me. Without peace I can't function.

🤎 Most of all going to therapy is something that I'm doing for ME & MY future.

🤎 So if you come across this post & you've been thinking about going to therapy but you've been unsure or iffy about it then this is your sign to give it try.

... Read moreTherapy offers numerous benefits that can enhance mental health and personal growth. Many individuals find that it’s a space where they can express themselves without judgment and receive unbiased advice. For instance, learning new coping strategies can effectively untangle past traumas, helping individuals move forward positively. Crucially, therapy doesn’t negate other practices like prayer; rather, it complements them, allowing for a holistic approach to mental health. In today's fast-paced world, prioritizing mental wellness has become essential. Therapy can aid in self-discovery and self-love, essential components for a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, addressing the stigma around therapy, especially in cultures that may undervalue its importance, is vital. Just as physical health requires attention, so does mental health. Recognizing its value can inspire others to seek help. If you've been contemplating therapy, consider this as an encouraging nudge to embrace this empowering journey. Remember, taking the first step is often the hardest but most rewarding part of the process.

I started therapy a year ago this month n it was the best thing ever! I picked my therapist n I looover so much 😍. I realized a lot ppl say therapy doesn’t work, or you don’t need it cus you should have ppl to be there to support you. N you should but it’s different going to a therapist and getting a profession POV.
